After a nine-day break, jump racing returns in Britain at Newton Abbot and Bangor, but the first day of Salisbury's showpiece meeting takes centre stage.

The highlight is the Listed British Stallion Studs EBF Upavon Fillies' Stakes (3.50), a tasty starter for tomorrow's main course the Group 3 totepool Sovereign Stakes.

There are other Flat fixtures at Beverley and Kempton today, and at Gowran Park in Ireland.
