The New One ran a real solid race in the Stan James Champion Hurdle to finish fifth and will now go back up in trip at Aintree.

He was only seventh jumping the last yet rallied so bravely up the hill that he nearly snatched fourth place.

The New One is the most wonderful horse, a legend to us all at Grange Hill Farm and to the many racing enthusiasts who have taken him to their hearts over the years.
