I have picked up a really good ride for Dave Dennis in the Coral Welsh Grand National (2.50) at Chepstow in the form of Final Nudge.

A confirmed mudlark – all seven of his wins under rules have come on ground officially described as soft or heavy – he finished an excellent third to Raz De Maree in the race last season.

That came off a mark of 145, and he is now able to compete off 7lb lower following four defeats, which include a run at Aintree in the Grand National.
