One trainer, one jockey, one horse and one race to watch on Saturday

Trainer

Richard Hannon is sending out a number of his big guns and has a solid chance in the Group 2 tote Celebration Mile (3.35) with Chindit, who was last seen finishing fifth in a Deauville Group 1 in August.

Hannon will also be represented at Goodwood by Team Wallop's stable stalwart Oh This Is Us in the tote Quadpot Starts Here Handicap (2.25).

The trainer could end the day on a high as he sends out Rose of Lancaster Stakes runner-up Fancy Man in the Group 3 Sytner BMW Sunningdale & Maidenhead Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor (6.30).

Jockey

Reigning champion Oisin Murphy is leading the way ahead of William Buick in the jockeys' championship and has a strong book of rides at Goodwood, including aboard Benbatl in the Celebration Mile.

He also partners Qatar Racing's Mise En Scene, who won her sole start for James Ferguson, in the Group 3 tote Prestige Stakes (1.50) and Classic Lord in the March Stakes (3.00) for Andrew Balding.

Murphy's final ride is set to be aboard the Hughie Morrison-trained Ravens Ark, one of the fancied runners in the 1m6f handicap (4.45).

Horse

Benbatl makes his seasonal reappearance for Godolphin and trainer Saeed bin Suroor as he bids for his tenth global Group-race victory.

The seven-year-old had a profitable campaign outside of Europe last year, winning two Group 2s at Meydan before finishing third behind Maximum Security and Midnight Bisou in the $20 million Saudi Cup.

Benbatl finished third in the Joel Stakes at Newmarket on his final start of the season in September and faces a competitive field on his return after a 337-day absence. He has never raced at Goodwood but was due to run in this race last year, only to be pulled out on the morning of the race due to unsuitable ground.

Race

Some familiar sprinters return to Beverley for the Listed William Hill Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes (3.15), including the last two winners.
