Nicky Henderson has played down suggestions that creating a British equivalent of the Dublin Racing Festival could boost the home team's performance at the Cheltenham Festival.

He believes fundamental issues, such as the quality of the horses and their sourcing, were key factors in the 23-5 scoreline in Ireland's favour at the meeting last March.

The Quality Jump Racing Review Group was created in response to that drubbing, to consider changes that could boost the best British jump racing and make it competitive at the sport's top events.
