First Group 1 runner for Menuisier in Doncaster showpiece

Saturday will be a big day for trainer David Menuisier. When Contrapposto enters the stalls for Saturday's Racing Post Trophy he will become the trainer's first runner in a Group 1.

The colt is one of six two-year-olds that he has in training, whereas Aidan O'Brien - Goliath compared to this David - has six entered in Doncaster's £200,000 event.

Despite his lack of firepower Menuisier is not fazed about taking on the powerful yards with a colt who cost 44,000gns as a yearling and has just a maiden win to his credit.
