Limerick manager quits position after less than four months in charge

A disruptive period for Limerick racecourse looks set to rumble on after new manager Emma White announced she is departing the track less than four months after starting her role.

It had been hoped that White, a native of Yorkshire who previously spent more than three years as manager of Sedgefield, would bring a steady hand to the Munster venue after previous manager Patrick O'Callaghan left his post late last year.

However, the former Go Racing in Yorkshire manager has decided to move on from Limerick after failing to be convinced the role was for her, having started her work on January 24.
