Paisley Park rewarded the patience of his fans on Saturday after the second-most picked horse of the competition landed the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham in rousing fashion.

It was the first time the popular star had run since the Tote Ten To Follow competition started after being a non-runner at Ascot last month, but secured a cool 22.7 points for his Grade 2 victory under Aidan Coleman.

Another big scorer from the weekend was the David Pipe-trained Ramses De Teillee, who scooped 29.1 points for his 17-length romp in the Grade 2 Albert Bartlett River Don Novices' Hurdle at Doncaster. Those with the eight-year-old in their stable will be hoping for more joy in the Grand National in April.

Other big scorers include Gold Cup hopeful Santini (23.5), Benie Des Dieux (23.2), Cepage (26.6) and Ok Corral (25.8). However, the highest scorer of the week remarkably came at Wetherby on Thursday when outsider Charmant roared to victory by 23 lengths in the 2m3½f handicap chase.

The James Ewart-trained eight-year-old earned 29.4 points for that success, with 19.4 of those coming from his Tote returns.

Lady Buttons, Mister Fisher, Carefully Selected and Stormy Ireland all moved into the top 20 of the leaderboard after they secured their second wins of the scoring period. Summerville Boy also broke in for his battling runner-up effort behind Paisley Park in the Cleeve Hurdle.

Meanwhile RobertL Stable 2 surged to the top of the players' leaderboard with Paisley Park and Benie Des Dieux in his stable, and is 22.1 points clear of second-placed Thomas M Stable0.

There are just a few days of scoring left for January's £10,000 monthly prize, with Nathan Doc Stable at the top of the pile on 173 points. Eight of his ten horses won this month.
