One trainer, one jockey, one horse and one race to watch on Saturday

Trainer

Jonjo O'Neill has just three runners on Saturday but they each have leading chances and potentially bigger targets on the horizon.

That statement is certainly true for Kelso runner Cloth Cap, who is building up to his Randox Grand National run in the Listed bet365 Premier Chase (2.40). The nine-year-old is making his first start since winning the Ladbrokes Trophy impressively and he currently heads the National betting.

At Newbury, O'Neill runs Tegerek, a fine third in Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham in November. The seven-year-old takes on a good field in the BetVictor Handicap Hurdle (2.30) and interestingly also has an entry in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

O'Neill final runner is impressive debut winner Fame And Concrete in a typically strong Newbury bumper (4.15).

Jockey

With Harry Cobden at Kelso, Bryony Frost is given a few leading chances at Newbury for boss Paul Nicholls including Grand Sancy in the featuring BetVictor Greatwood Gold Cup (1.50). The unexposed seven-year-old was an impressive winner at Chepstow in October.

Frost is also back on board Present Man, a horse she has ridden to two wins in the Badger Ales, in the veterans' handicap (1.15) before partnering exciting novice chaser Hitman, who is bidding to bounce back to form (3.40).

Sorbet (3.05) and Silent Revolution (4.15) complete her quality book of rides.

Horse

Emmet Mullins brings The Shunter back to Britain to contest the valuable bet365 Morebattle Hurdle (3.15) at Kelso. The eight-year-old was a three-length winner of the Greatwood Hurdle when last seen in Britain, and he has placed in his only outing in Ireland since.

A £100,000 bonus is given if Saturday's winner follows up at the Cheltenham Festival and The Shunter has plenty of options at the meeting and is as short as 11-1 for the County Hurdle.

Race

It has been a while since the Get Your Ladbrokes Daily Odds Boost Spring Cup (2.00) has produced a real top-class horse but there are plenty of potentially smart prospects in Saturday's line up.

El Drama is the most exciting runner having won on his only racecourse start at Doncaster. He cost 425,000gns as a yearling and has entries in the 2,000 Guineas and the Derby.

His biggest dangers include the 105-rated Megallan for John Gosden, while Thank You Next, Apollo One and Yazaman have placed at Group level.
