ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the eight races on ITV3 on Saturday

1.20 Newbury
Sir Peter O'Sullevan Memorial Handicap Chase, 2m6½f

JP McManus-owned runners have worn the late Sir Peter O'Sullevan's black and yellow silks in this race for the last two years and Kapcorse does so again as the Paul Nicholls-trained nine-year-old targets a third win following victories in 2018 and last year. Cap Du Nord is another previous winner returning for another crack, having scored in 2020.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: DEMACHINE

Shaped well on this card last season; Uttoxeter winner in the spring; goes well fresh

1.35 Newcastle
Betfair Daily Rewards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, 2m7½f

A closely-knit contest with all the runners holding claims on form, including Lord Roco who caught the eye when second on his chase debut at Ayr 17 days ago. Malinello, a promising novice hurdler in 2020-21, makes his first start for 686 days for the in-form Ben Pauling.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: LORD ROCCO

Improved form when second on chase debut at Ayr and he could play a leading role here

Coral Racing Club Handicap Hurdle, 2m4½f

Lord Baddesley was second to Knappers Hill on return and was an authoritative winner at Plumpton last time. He can remain competitive off 9lb higher but will face strong challenges from Washington and Current Mood.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: WEST BALBOA

non-runner

2.10 Newcastle
Betfair Fighting Fifth Hurdle (Grade 1), 2m

The wraps are set to come off Constitution Hill as Nicky Henderson pitches last season's emphatic Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner against stablemate Epatante. The former Champion Hurdle heroine defends an unbeaten record in the race, having won it in 2020 and dead-heated with the reopposing Not So Sleepy last year.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: CONSTITUTION HILL

Outstanding novice hurdler last season and he's very hard to oppose on his reappearance

Coral Bet Bundles Intermediate Handicap Hurdle, 2m½f

With four wins in the last ten years, Nicky Henderson has been the trainer to follow in a race better known as the Gerry Feilden and he saddles First Street and Theatre Glory. Teddy Blue makes his handicap debut after starting the season well, while Pikar is another promising type going in the right direction.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: YORKSEA

Plenty of promise over hurdles last term and moves into handicaps with untapped potential

3.05 Newbury
Coral Gold Cup Handicap Chase, 3m2f

David Pipe has two live chances of winning Newbury's winter showpiece for a second time with Remastered, who was about to have a major say last year before falling four out, and the unexposed Gericault Roque. This stamina test should suit last season's Ultima winner Corach Rambler, while impressive Bangor scorer Le Milos and Irish raider Busselton are among the other leading hopes in a very competitive contest.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: GERICAULT ROQUE

Chase form figures read 32222; better off with Corach Rambler on Ultima form; solid chance

3.25 Newcastle
Betfair Exchange Rehearsal Handicap Chase, 2m7½f

All eyes will be on L'Homme Presse as last season's Brown Advisory winner makes his return carrying top weight in a handicap. He has the class to shoulder the burden but it won't be easy against the likes of last year's winner Aye Right and the five-timer seeking Into Overdrive, who is at the foot of the weights.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: INTO OVERDRIVE

Progressive 7yo who completed a four-timer with a ready reappearance win at Wetherby

3.40 Newbury
Coral Get Closer To The Action Handicap Chase, 2m½f

Amarillo Sky made all at Cheltenham on his comeback 15 days ago and also won over this course and distance in February. Trainer Chris Gordon bids to continue his fast start to the season with Only Money, while veteran Bun Doran has the class to be a factor in this grade.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: ONLY MONEY

Held on soft last time; record of 3-5 on good ground over fences; remains of interest
