Goodwood winner Rumble Inthejungle snapped up by Cheveley Park Stud
Flying Childers favourite Rumble Inthejungle has been bought by Cheveley Park Stud, but will continue to race in the colours of the Rebel Racing Premier syndicate and be trained by Richard Spencer.
One of this year's leading two-year-old, Rumble Inthejungle has won two of his three starts, including a convincing two-and-a-half-length victory in Goodwood's Group 3 Molecomb Stakes in August.
Bred by Patrick Gleeson, the exciting juvenile is by this season's leading first crop sire Bungle Inthejungle and hails from a family packed with speed, including Group winners Birchwood and Millyant, as well as former champion sire Prince Sabo.
Chris Richardson, managing director of Cheveley Park, said: "We're delighted to have acquired this very good looking and highly talented Group 3 winner. We look forward to racing him in partnership with Phil Cunningham's Rebel Racing Premier syndicate."
Rumble Inthejungle is an early favourite to land his first Group 2 in the Wainwrights Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster on Friday and Spencer believes there are exciting days ahead.
He said: "He is without doubt a hugely exciting horse who possesses an abundance of natural speed. He has a fantastic attitude, which will stand him in good stead for the future."
Rumble Inthejungle's price ranges from 16-1 to 25-1 for next year's Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot.
