The Cyrname camp will get a quick chance to make amends for their superstar's defeat last weekend as Adrien Du Pont heads 14 horses declared for the £100,000 Betway Handicap Chase at Kempton this Saturday.

Trainer Paul Nicholls, jockey Harry Cobden and owner Johnny de la Hey were celebrating after the big race two weeks ago when Pic D'Orhy won Newbury's Betfair Hurdle, but they were left deflated after the performance and final-fence fall of Cyrname in the Betfair Ascot Chase last Saturday.

However, they have a live contender for the race that used to be known as the Racing Post Chase in Adrien Du Pont, whose rivals include stablemates Black Corton, Sametegal and Romain De Senam, as well as Just A Sting and Double Shuffle.

Erick Le Rouge, who had been as short as 6-1 for the race, ranks as the most notable absentee.

In Saturday's other big race for which the final field was declared, a field of seven are set to go to post for Lingfield's Betway Winter Derby, and they are headed by leading fancies and smart four-year-olds Bangkok and Dubai Warrior. The latter provides Frankie Dettori with his first British mount of 2020.
