Kennedy hoping for magic Dublin Racing Festival with Abacadabras and Delta Work
He has been heralded as the key to Delta Work retaining his Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup crown at Leopardstown by Gordon Elliott – and Jack Kennedy has complete faith in the horse he knows better than any other ahead of a mouthwatering showdown in the Dublin Racing festival feature on Sunday.
Kennedy rides Delta Work most mornings at Elliott’s Cullentra House base in County Meath and echoed the trainer's recent upbeat bulletin on a horse he has guided to two Grade 1 triumphs over fences.
Injury meant Kennedy had to sit out the Savills Chase over Christmas, where Delta Work unshipped late substitute Sean Flanagan, but the jockey is hoping he can point his old friend back in the right direction on Sunday.
