'Kempton an option but it's not the plan' - Pyledriver camp plot Arc route
King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes hero Pyledriver is firmly on course for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp on October 2, although William Muir is not ruling out a mouthwatering clash with last year's Derby winner Adayar beforehand.
The popular son of Harbour Watch, who runs in the colours of the La Pyle Partnership, stretched his legs just after 6am on Friday morning as part of first lot at Muir and joint-trainer Chris Grassick's Lambourn operation.
Heading straight to Paris for the €5 million championship is Plan A, although connections are not rejecting the idea of a prep in next month's Racing TV September Stakes, the Kempton Group 3 in which Adayar is set to run.
