Jack Tudor is considering an appeal against a seven-day ban that would force the 18-year-old to miss a dream opportunity to ride Potters Corner at the Cheltenham Festival.
The Chepstow stewards found Tudor used his whip above the permitted level when winning on 25-1 shot Newlands Cross on Thursday.
His ban runs between March 11 and 17, the day when Potters Corner is due to run in the Glenfarclas Chase. Seven-day bans cannot be deferred and the appeal would need to succeed for him to take the ride.
