'It's daunting but exciting' - Denise Foster takes over from Gordon Elliott

Denise 'Sneezy' Foster will take over from the suspended Gordon Elliott with the 67-year-old trainer set to take charge of Cullentra House from Tuesday.

Elliott had his licence suspended for six months on Friday, and was ordered to pay €15,000 in costs, after he was found guilty of bringing racing into disrepute following the emergence of a picture of him sitting on a dead horse while taking a phone call in 2019.

Foster spoke to the Racing Post on Saturday afternoon and said: "It's daunting, but exciting. I'm really looking forward to it. It feels right and I feel very comfortable with it.
