'I'm either brilliant or mad' - juvenile Chipotle to take on elders in Nunthorpe
Hollie Doyle has been booked to ride Brocklesby and Windsor Castle Stakes winner Chipotle off 8st 1lb in Friday's Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes at York, a race last won by a juvenile when Kingsgate Native struck in 2007.
Two-year-olds receive 22lb from three-year-olds and 24lb from four-year-olds and upwards in the top-level sprint and the weight-for-age allowance has swayed Chipotle's trainer Eve Johnson Houghton.
Johnson Houghton said: "I'm taking a deep breath and taking a plunge with Chipotle. I'm either brilliant or mad – I can't quite work out which!
