Joseph O'Brien doesn't think the three-mile question has been answered properly yet by his star chaser Fakir D'Oudairies.

And, fresh from impressively defending his Marsh Chase crown at Aintree, the seven-year-old could step up in trip and take on Clan Des Obeaux in the Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup later this month.

Fakir D'Oudairies added a fourth Grade 1 win to his CV at Aintree last week and, according to Racing Post ratings, beating Hitman by five and a half lengths was the best display of his career as it earned him a figure of 171.
