'He's never been sharper' - jockeys' agent Hind lauds William Buick achievement

Leading jockeys' agent Tony Hind has hailed William Buick's tenacity after watching the Derby-winning rider bounce back from two near-misses to be crowned Britain's champion Flat jockey for the first time on Saturday.

Buick lifted the trophy at Ascot on Qipco British Champions Day after dominating the championship from the start. He took a lead of 67 winners over Hollie Doyle into the last day of the season having partnered 157 winners since April 30.

While Buick was winning the title for the first time, Hind was celebrating an eighth championship for one of his riders and was proud to see his latest star fulfil his ambition.
