Gosden warns Enable may need her comeback run in Sunday's red-hot Coral-Eclipse
John Gosden has warned he expects Enable to improve for her comeback run more than in previous seasons, with the superstar mare taking longer to get fit as a six-year-old before Sunday's Coral-Eclipse clash with Ghaiyyath and Japan.
Just as she did a year ago, the ten-time Group 1 winner kicks off her season in the Eclipse where she will face an all-star cast, although Gosden revealed impressive Prince of Wales's winner Lord North is unlikely to take on his stablemate at Sandown.
Enable beat Magical by three-quarters of a length on her comeback at the Esher course last year and also won her first outing as a juvenile and as a four-year-old, but Gosden said she has found it harder to "attain race fitness" before her return this year.
