'When he wins he wins as he likes' – Moore insists Goshen is no one-trick pony

Goshen on Saturday was confirmed for a showdown with leading juvenile hurdlers Solo and Allmankind in a hotly anticipated JCB Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, and his jockey Jamie Moore is predicting more fireworks from the four-year-old.

After an inauspicious two-year-old campaign, Goshen has rocketed upwards in the last nine months, first with three thumping wins on the Flat by a combined 28 lengths before slamming his rivals in three hurdle races by a total of 68 lengths.

Trained by Gary Moore for owner Steven Packham, Goshen has been usurped as favourite by wide-margin Adonis Juvenile Hurdle winner Solo, but his rider retains every confidence in his mount and his chances for next week.
