The best of your reaction to the news that the Cheltenham Festival will stay at four days . . .

Never thought it'd really go to five, although I do think they should bring back that 2m4f [novice] handicap chase. The Mares' Chase that replaced it is pants.

Should be back to three days, too many average races!

Very pleased to see this result! Finally listening to the fans of the sport instead of the money.Andy Middleton on Twitter

Now they need desperately to improve the facilities. They could earn a lot more if you could get good service in the bars and food outlets. Improve seating areas and car parking, which is a joke.
Johnny Hamilton on Twitter

Glad they actually listened and supported the views and feelings of supporters and followers. Rarely happens these days in professional sport.

Common sense prevails – hopefully this sets a precedent that can be applied to the entire fixture list.

Most definitely. I am a Cheltenham member and go racing on average a day a week in the main jumps season, and haven't come across one serious racing fan who wanted a fifth day.

Fantastic news. Well done to the Jockey Club for consulting and listening.

I think that's the right decision. Would like to see the four days moved to Wednesday-Saturday, though.

Thank Christ for that – I can't afford five.
