It might seem counterintuitive that one of the most accomplished riders at the Cheltenham Festival spends more time with every single one of the opposition in front of him as opposed to behind him, but it is ultimately quite the opposite.

Jamie Codd has mastered the art of passing the winning post in front when it matters at Cheltenham. One of the elite go-to amateur riders, he has farmed seven festival winners across an eight-year timespan, which means only seven active jockeys have ridden more winners than him at the March bonanza.
