Any subscribers to the adage that youth is wasted on the young have clearly never met Dylan Browne McMonagle.

The great Muhammad Ali once said we shouldn't count the days but instead make the days count, and there is certainly that feeling about the highly driven 18-year-old, a national underage champion boxer in his own right. He has crammed a remarkable amount into a short space of time.

There have long been big things expected from the County Donegal native. After rising to prominence as a prolific pony racing rider with 218 winners on the flapping scene, he was the focus of an engaging mini-documentary at the age of 12 called Five Stone Of Lead.
