Most satisfying part of my job
Making a difference to my customers. Every customer who comes through our door is given an honest, helpful and happy betting experience. This has resulted in our team receiving loyalty and trust from a large number of customers both young and old. We get to know all about them, their lives and their families.
Biggest change in the industry since you started
Technology. I was apprehensive in the beginning but now I embrace it. The introduction of Epos, online betting, self-service terminals and omni-channel – it has been so exciting to see all this happening. We’ve come a long way from sitting in the back settling bets and doing paperwork. We’re now more visible at the counter and on the shop floor interacting and helping our customers.
