Act Of Authority looks smart for Ellmarie Holden's influential nursery
The Goffs UK sale at Aintree on April 7 is the next big date in the calendar for agents and trainers aiming to stock up on young talent from the point-to-point field.
We saw a lot of quality at the Tattersalls Cheltenham sale on St Patrick's Day, and there was plenty more on display in the four-year-old maidens at the weekend.
I rode Act Of Authority to win at Lisronagh on Saturday, and was impressed by this Authorized gelding who is trained by Ellmarie Holden, producer of two of this season's top novice hurdlers, the Ballymore winner Sir Gerhard and the Supreme Novices' runner-up Jonbon.
