Judgement weekend for several bright young chasing stars
James Pyman analyses the developing form of last season's Grade 1 novices
Out with the old, in with the new. That’s the impression you get from the betting for many of the upcoming big Grade 1 chases, with prices suggesting the established top chasers will be swept aside by a wave of emerging stars.
Altior, the winner of this year’s Racing Post Arkle, is favourite for the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase despite missing his intended return due to a wind issue, and second-season chaser Might Bite is generally 6-4 for the 32Red King George.
