Bruce Millington finds bookmaker Ben Keith in typically ebullient mood

I'm sharing a restaurant table with Ben Keith in a swanky French joint in Soho, and something's not right. There's no filming taking place.
Keith made his name as the boy wonder bookie who has gone from standing at Sittingbourne dogs a matter of months after he was old enough to smoke to creating the Star Sports enterprise, but his food blogs have become a popular social media sideline and give the impression he eats out so much he probably regards the kitchen as an optional extra when buying property.
Tonight, though, we are at one of his familiar haunts, meaning I can enjoy the food without holding up Keith's iPhone while he gives his verdict on the turbot.
