Although a balmy afternoon in the Cotswolds lends itself to relaxation, there is no time for rest at Bourton Hill Farm.
Change is afoot. Early May brings a sense of controlled chaos to the yard as the first of Harriet Dickin's horses move into their new home. The next lot are already en route, undertaking the journey from the old Warwickshire base which was home to her father's training operation for a decade.
The change of scenery brings with it new challenges and a host of extra stables to fill. Now aged 69, Robin Dickin is ready to step back and let his daughter take charge of this newest venture, as they move into the yard recently vacated by Ben Pauling.
