'I couldn't believe what had happened - but you have to move on and now we can'

Despite multiple Graded triumphs stretching back over a decade, the first port of call in the gallery tour of Martin Keighley's office is a picture of a Tuesday evening meeting at Southwell.
The July fixture may have passed many by, but a rare treble was made even more poignant as each winning horse – Debden Bank, Dreamsundermyfeet and Pinnacle Peak – also claimed a hat-trick apiece, a remarkable twist that captures the astonishing season the Cotswolds-based trainer has enjoyed.
Keighley has racked up 33 winners this term, just one short of his career best from ten years ago. It's an exceptional turnaround from last season's tally of nine, and where the runners aren't scoring they are hitting the frame with regularity, with more than half finishing in the places.
