Gina Bryce finds some fillies and mares who could bag points this season

Starting with the 2,000 Guineas I think Thunder Moon could turn out to be the best of the three-year-old colts. I love the turn of foot he showed to get out of a pocket in the National Stakes and pull clear of some good horses.

Chindit is a son of Wootton Bassett - who my parents bred - who, like a lot of the progeny, is very tough. The Hannons have unleashed a lot of good three-year-olds at the Greenham meeting and I think he'll win plenty of races this year.

Among the fillies I think Pretty Gorgeous will come to the fore. I thought she really deserved her win in the Fillies' Mile and she looks a big filly who should make up into a better three-year-old, despite having a brilliant juvenile record.

I'm also going to put in Indigo Girl, based on her fast-finishing effort in that same Fillies' Mile on just her third start. She was still very green that day and I think she's probably the one going up in trip.

Teona is held in really high regard by Roger Varian and could not have been more impressive in her second start at Newcastle. Her dam Ambivalent was quite a livewire and almost crushed me at York! I hope she can be a filly for the Oaks.

Cayenne Pepper has been very consistent for Jessica Harrington but reports are she could be even better this year and I'd expect her to farm a host of middle-distance races.

I'm also going for Tarnawa, who is so tough and progressive for a yard that targets big races so expertly.

Mishriff could also finish up in the Arc and he looked so good in his two races in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. He looks to have come on again and is just so tough, while Palace Pier was dominant in the mile division at three and I can't see that changing this year.

For a sprinter I'm siding with Glass Slippers, who really came into her own last autumn. I think the best could yet be to come and her form in the summer was pretty smart as well so hopefully she'll pick up plenty of points, given Battaash can't rule forever.
