Clueless bookmakers clearly vulnerable to political coups
Bookmakers are so stupid, aren't they? They know nothing. Well, they certainly know nothing about politics. Whatever a bookmaker predicts is going to happen in an election or referendum, expect the opposite.
Donald Trump becoming president means the layers have got three votes in a row spectacularly wrong. I recently decided to restrict my betting to just golf and darts, but that was an error. I must not miss out on the goldmine of political punting.
Look what barmy bookies thought was going to happen over the last 18 months. A hung parliament was a certainty in the UK general election? Idiots! Conservative landslide. Remain was an EU referendum banker? Pah! More than 17 million people demanded Leave. Hillary Clinton was a shoo-in for President? Imbeciles!
