Faugheen roars back with a performance that will make him tough to beat

Faugheen was back in business at Punchestown on Sunday, overcoming a 665-day absence to post the highest RPR of the jumps season so far.

The nine-year-old dictated the pace before powering clear of his three rivals in the straight to land the Morgiana Hurdle by 16 lengths from Jezki (153).

The runner-up, also aged nine, had shown good speed to land a Grade 3 at Tipperary on his previous start but was completely outclassed by the returning champ.
