Monday

Kempton stages the only afternoon meeting of the day after Carlisle's card was cancelled following an inspection as a result of heavy rainfall throughout the night.

At Kempton, the Nicky Henderson-trained Attacca (12.50), a distant relative of Altior, is one to look out for.

An all-weather fixture under the floodlights at Wolverhampton completes the day.

Tuesday

Plenty of competitive racing is on offer for jumps fans with meetings at Hereford, Huntingdon and Lingfield. Leading trainers Nicky Henderson, Dan Skelton and Alan King are set to cross swords in a keenly-contested 2m handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (2.07).

There is jumps action in Ireland at Fairyhouse, while Flat racing takes place in the evening at Chelmsford.

Wednesday

Bangor takes centre stage with a £40,000 Listed mares' novice chase (1.25) set to feature the progressive Found On, who will be aiming to make it six wins in a row over fences. Her possible opponents include the promising Fortunes Melody and Voice Of Calm.

Another highlight is the £40,000 3m handicap chase (2.00) which could see the return to action of potential Grand National contender The Galloping Bear.

There is jumps action at Ayr, while the Flat fixture at Kempton includes the final of the London Sprint Series (8.00). Another all-weather card takes place at Dundalk in Ireland.

Thursday

Chasers are to the fore as Market Rasen puts on a three-mile Listed contest for mares (3.15) with Zambella, Fantastic Lady and Little River Bay among eyecatching entries.

Taunton hosts its first meeting of the season while there is more jumping fare at Newcastle and an all-weather meeting in the evening at Chelmsford.

Friday

It's day one of the November meeting at Cheltenham and four races are being shown on ITV4, including the Grade 2 Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle (3.30) which could be the next outing for the exciting Hermes Allen.

Banbridge could return to the scene of his Martin Pipe triumph in March if tackling the novice handicap chase (2.20), while the fixture's cross country chase has been switched to a veterans' handicap chase over conventional fences (2.55).

Southwell hosts a jumps meeting and there are all-weather fixtures at Newcastle, Wolverhampton and Dundalk.

Saturday

Always a much-anticipated meeting for jump racing fans is Paddy Power Gold Cup day at Cheltenham. Ga Law, Stolen Silver and Fan De Blues are the market principals for the feature £160,000 handicap chase (2.20). There are Triumph Hurdle and Arkle trials on the stellar seven-race card.

A Grade 2 novice chase with an honour roll including Sizing John and Identity Thief is the feature at Punchestown – a race won by Riviere D'Etel last year.

Uttoxeter and Wetherby host jumps fixtures and the all-weather action comes from Lingfield and Wolverhampton.

Sunday

The Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle (2.55) is the big betting race on the final day of Cheltenham's November meeting and Paul Nicholls could have a big say with Sonigino and Hacker Des Places (2.55).

Arkle winner Edwardstone is set to take on Nube Negra in the Shloer Chase, with a Supreme trial and Listed bumper likely to prove informative at the end of the card.

Fontwell's fixture is headlined by the Southern National and Navan and Naas complete the Sunday offering.
