David O'Meara bemoans prize-money as filly with 'huge future' is sold to Ireland

David O'Meara has cited low prize-money in Britain as a major factor in losing rising star Twilight Spinner after the filly was purchased privately and sent to Joseph O'Brien in Ireland.

The three-year-old has made rapid progress this season, winning impressively on both her starts since making an eyecatching debut at Pontefract in April.

The manner of her six-and-a-half-length victory in last month's Listed Cecil Frail Stakes at Haydock earned her a 10-1 quote for the Commonwealth Cup – a race she needed to be supplemented for – with O'Meara predicting the filly had "a huge future".
