The fastest horse in the world could have a new jockey on board at Longchamp with Sheikh Hamdan's racing manager Angus Gold revealing riding arrangements for the operation's number one rider Jim Crowley are up in the air.

Crowley has ridden Battaash on his last 12 starts but the mandatory eight-day quarantine period for any rider returning from France would rule him out of Newmarket's Dewhurst meeting and consequently he could stay in Britain, with the famous blue and white silks sported by Crowley's understudy, Dane O'Neill, in the Prix de l'Abbaye on October 4.
