Burke ponders Longchamp or Curragh raid with star Laurens
Laurens, who finished runner-up in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket this month, is likely to be in Group 1 action on Sunday, but connections have yet to decide where.
Laurens could run in the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas, for which she is a top price of 9-1 with the Betfair Sportsbook, or The Gurkha Coolmore Prix Saint-Alary, which takes place over ten furlongs at Longchamp.

Trainer Karl Burke had initially stated that the highly regarded Laurens would go straight to Chantilly for the Prix de Diane next month. However, so well has she taken the race at Newmarket, it now seems probable Laurens will race somewhere en route to a crack at the French Classic.

Burke said: "We're undecided at the minute. We'll make a late decision and we'll know in the morning.
"She's so well in herself it would be a shame not to take one of these opportunities.
"She's in great form, has come on for the Guineas and we're very happy with her. The Diane is three weeks away and a lot can happen in a horse's life in three weeks."
