Bastiman case highlights the value of retrospective testing

Until this month racing's Bastiman family were best known for the heartwarming exploits of star sprinter Borderlescott. That is no longer the case.

Most internet searches of the family name will now, first and foremost, link them to something that is anything but heartwarming.

It was when Robin Bastiman was licence-holder that Borderlescott became a dual winner of the Nunthorpe Stakes.
