It may have made for a pulsating finish for neutrals last year, but connections of Honeysuckle will be hoping to avoid the same sort of nail-biting drama this Sunday when the incredible mare bids for a record-equalling third Hatton's Grace Hurdle.

They say a true sign of a champion is when able to win without being at your best, and the unbeaten star's 2020 Fairyhouse triumph is said to be the only time she has ever taken a blow during a race.

Crucially, though, she still managed to prevail by half a length at the expense of the fast-finishing Ronald Pump.
