37 per cent strike-rate! Double green team reflect on 'wonderful' festive run
The double green silks of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede graced many a winner’s enclosure over the Christmas period and their retained rider Daryl Jacob is excited for a big spring ahead, including with recent top-level winner Blue Lord.
Blue Lord was one of seven winners from 19 runners for the owners over jumps since December 26, with smart prospects Impaire Et Passe and El Fabiolo striking shortly before's racing Christmas break.
A dual Grade 1 winner in last season’s novice chase campaign, Blue Lord posted a career best when beating Captain Guinness by 11 lengths in the Paddy’s Rewards Club Chase at Leopardstown on December 27.
