DROOPYS DEPLOY can get back to winning ways at Hove tonight when he drops back in trip to 500m for a heat of the Coral Dual Distance Trophy at 8.24, live on PGR.

Aided by only a moderate starter, Pawsome Bullet, racing on his inside, a decent exit can see him zip clear and beyond recall.

Derek Knight’s Break Point has been staying on strongly over 500m and is worth chancing again back in trip to 695m for a moderate maiden stayers’ race at 6.59.

The daughter of Ballymac Anton is streets ahead of her rivals based on four-bend form and class can tell.

Two heats of the Coral 500 Bitches Trophy over 500m follow and Paul Young’s Sussex Cup runner-up Copney Queen is banker material for the opener at 7.16.

Up first in a puppy contest at 7.27, Tom Heilbron’s scopey Demon Hunter can make a winning return to action after a spell on the sidelines.

He has kept good company in the past and returns to tackle predominantly graded opposition.

Stephen Caile’s Crooks On Fire lost his unbeaten record last week but can get back on track in the maiden at 7.44. He has the early speed to slip clear, before building an unassailable lead.
