Tattersalls Ireland CEO Simon Kerins said: "The release of the Derby Sale catalogue is always highly anticipated, and you’ll see that we have once again attracted the cream of what Ireland and the UK have to offer. The Derby Sale is long recognised as the National Hunt sale which attracts the best horses, and our inspection team has worked incredibly hard to ensure that the quality for which the Derby Sale is synonymous, is ever present throughout the catalogue.

"That quality wouldn’t be possible without the invaluable support of our vendors. The next part of the process for us is attracting National Hunt racing’s leading owners, trainers and agents, and a catalogue with such strength and depth makes that an easier task.

"The return of the two-year-old section has been a major talking point over the winter months, and the presence of three siblings to Grade 1 winners in that section is sure to attract a huge amount of interest. We look forward to once again delivering a warm Tattersalls Ireland welcome in June, for three of the most highly anticipated dates in the sales calendar."

All horses catalogued and offered at the sale are eligible for the Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Bumper, which will be run at the Leopardstown Christmas festival on December 28 next year. The vendor of the winning horse will drive away in a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLC.

For the first time, three-year-olds sold 18 months earlier as two-year-olds at the sale will have the opportunity to participate in an Irish bumper.
