Byerley Stud has much to celebrate nearing the end of 2022, and there is no doubt the champagne will continue to flow given so many highlights, ranging from Coole Cody's gallant racetrack exploits to outstanding foal sale results.
It will soon be full steam ahead for the team though, with the need for clear heads, as foaling season is just around the corner.
For assistant stud manager Laura Clifford-Ward, the granddaughter of stud directors Wayne and Sarah Clifford, it is a hugely exciting time of year.
