Japanese star Killer Ability signed up for stud duties in India

Japanese Grade 1 winner Killer Ability's international travel will continue after an agreement was announced for him to stand as a stallion in India.
The son of the legendary Deep Impact heads to Nanoli Stud near Pune for Equus and SKJ Thoroughbreds in a deal done by agents Gaurav Rampal and David O'Callaghan.
Killer Ability earned his top-level title as a juvenile with a victory in the Hopeful Stakes at Nakayama and after running in two Japanese Classics, picked up the winning thread again in the Grade 3 Chunichi Shimbun Hai as a three-year-old.
He was kept in training until he was six and made a few trips to the Gulf, notably running a good second behind Sir Alex Ferguson's globetrotter Spirit Dancer in last year's Neom Turf Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Killer Ability is a son of US-bred Congaree mare Killer Aces, who was a Grade 1 winner of the Hollywood Starlet Stakes and has also produced the useful J Palms in Japan.
