Emily Upjohn's owner Jon Shack tells Tom Peacock about his experiences

With her plain red and black silks, famous trainer and aristocratic breeding, Emily Upjohn has all the obvious hallmarks of a filly belonging to one of the potentates that typically feature with principal runners in the Cazoo Oaks.
Jon Shack, this year's ante-post favourite’s majority owner, is quick to explain that he is quite the opposite.
In fact, upsetting the established order is something that he and his father, Cyril, have managed every so often during the last 45 years through a combination of patience, financial restraint and trusting the judgement of the very best in the business.
