Mercedes Cup winner Matteo Berrettini can impress at Halle

Queen's Club Championships semi-finals
BBC2 from 1pm Saturday
Halle semi-finals, from 10am Saturday
Big-serving Italian Matteo Berrettini won the Mercedes Cup title last week without dropping serve and is in contention to collect another grass-court title after defeating third seed Karen Khachenov 6-2 7-6 in the quarter-finals of the Noventi Open at Halle.
Berrettini, whose ranking rose to a career high of 22 after his Stuttgart success, takes on baseliner David Goffin in the semi-finals and looks a worthy odds-on favourite.
Goffin showed his battling qualities by coming from behind to defeat second seed Alexander Zverev 3-6 6-1 7-6 in the quarter-finals.
But the Belgian has never reached the final of a grass-court event and may be overpowered by Berrettini, who has the tools to be a contender at Wimbledon.
Another rising star who could trouble the big guns at Wimbledon is 18-year-old Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, who is through to the semi-finals at Queen's Club after an impressive 7-5 6-2 success over top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Auger-Aliassime lost 6-4 7-6 to Berrettini in the Mercedes Cup final but is growing in stature all the time and has shortened from 80-1 to 50-1 to triumph at the All England Club.
