The new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! is missing one half of Ant and Dec but the annual festival of bushtucker trials and campfire conflicts is back.

Among the more recognisable faces heading into the jungle are former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, TV presenter Nick Knowles, Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack and actor John Barrowman but the market value could lie elsewhere.

Rita Simons played Roxy Mitchell in EastEnders and the show’s legions of fans are likely to back the bubbly personality night after night.

Quiz queen Anne Hegerty from The Chase, James McVey from the Vamps, Coronation Street’s Sair Khan, X Factor singer Fleur East and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer complete the initial line-up.

Redknapp will surely entertain - don't be surprised to see him hanging out a car window deadline-day style in a dingo dollar challenge - but his admitted lack of independence could cause him to struggle. There have been reports that Noel Edmonds will be a late arrival in camp and he has been priced at between 10-1 and 16-1.

McVey, the 9-2 favourite, and Barrowman lead the market but there has not been a male winner since 2014 and Simons, a former stalwart of one of Britain’s favourite shows, is a tempting price to be crowned queen of the jungle.
