UK General Election 2019: Conservatives favourites to gain an overall majority

The 2019 UK general election takes place on Thursday and bookmakers still expect the Conservatives to gain a majority.

Boris Johnson's party are a solid 1-3 to be able to form a majority government, with another hung parliament on offer at 11-4.

The latest national opinion polls are all giving the Tories a lead of around ten per cent. The smallest advantage over Labour they have had since the election was called was six per cent on November 27.

A Labour minority government is the bookmakers' 8-1 second favourite outcome of the election, with a Conservative minority government 12-1 and a Labour-SNP coalition 14-1.

The Prime Minister is 1-6 with Ladbrokes to keep his seat in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, with Labour out to 5-1 to depose him.

Dominic Raab is 1-2 to still be MP for Esher & Walton, where the Lib Dems are quated at between 7-4 and 9-4 to take the seat.

Most seats best odds: 1-20 Conservatives, 12-1 Labour, 200-1 Lib Dems, 500-1 bar.

Overall majority odds: 1-3 Conservative majority, 11-4 no overall majority, 25-1 Labour majority, 300-1 bar.

Government after election: 1-3 Conservative majority, 8-1 Labour minority, 12-1 Conservative minority, 14-1 Labour-SNP coalition, 22-1 Labour-Lib Dem-SNP coalition, 25-1 Labour majority, 33-1 Conservative-Brexit Party coalition, 40-1 Conservative-Lib Dem coalition, 50-1 Labour-Lib Dem coalition, 200-1 bar.
