Toronto Wolfpack missed out on promotion to the Betfred Super League with an agonising 4-2 defeat to London Broncos in the Million Pound game last October and their quest to go one better this time around could get a huge boost when they take on promotion rivals Widnes.

The Canadian outfit are 5-4 favourites to reach the promised land with competition sponsors Betfred, the Vikings are next best at 15-8, and it's 11-1 bar.

It promises to be a compelling contest with Widnes looking to bounce back to Super League following their relegation last season and both sides will be keen to lay down an early marker.

It represents a home game for Toronto despite the fact it will be played at Newcastle's Kingston Park and the Wolfpack are hot 4-9 favourites with Widnes 5-2.

Both sides have won their opening two games convincingly and it could be the case that this game is closer than the prices suggest and backing Widnes with a six-point start on the match handicap looks the way to go.

Recommendation
Widnes +6
2pts 10-11 Sky Bet
