STATE OF ORIGIN is now done and dusted for another season meaning rugby league attention in Australia is again fixed on the NRL

With just over half of the season completed, Cronulla Sharks and Melbourne Storm have distinguished themselves as the teams to beat in the race for Grand Final success but in behind them the fight for a playoff place is heating up. Only ten points separate third-placed North Queensland and 13th-placed Manly at present.

In the middle of that pack lie St George-Illawarra Dragons and Gold Coast Titans who get round 19 started this morning.
